This happened to a client of mine who had a plugin to auto-update plugins. Reverting plugin fixed the issue as well.
Hey, yes you’re right I installed “Easy Updates Manager”, but also deactivation resp. deleting plugin from my WP Multisite installation did not fix the issue, still error messages on my websites.
