    Hello,

I have a website which im re-building for a customer
It never required-me to verify my email, I always log-in with credentials given (username and password) and work on it.

Now, I installed Jet-Pack, but it asks me to verify an email that doesnt exists (redacted). The previous creator of the website had put this email on WP-Admin panel and now it is impossible to log-in or recover the email.

I´ve tried to change the admin (username) to my email: email deleted
I can acess some jet-pack statistics, but i cant acess WP-Admin because i need an email that doesnt exists.

    I would apreciate help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @luis2220899

Thanks for reaching out — I can see how this situation would be confusing.

It sounds like you’re trying to access the wp-admin dashboard, but you’re being blocked because of an outdated or inaccessible admin email address added by the previous site creator. Since WordPress dashboard login and user access are managed directly by the site’s hosting and WordPress installation, this part is actually outside Jetpack’s scope of support.

Here are a few suggestions that might help you move forward:

    • If you have access to the site’s hosting account (like cPanel or FTP), you may be able to reset the admin email or password manually via phpMyAdmin or functions.php.
    • You can also contact the site’s hosting provider — they may be able to help restore access or update the admin email for you.

Once you’re able to log into the WordPress dashboard, if Jetpack is still showing as connected to an old account, let us know — we’d be happy to help you get it properly reconnected to your account.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
