What version of the Ultimate member you have installed on your site?
Are you referring to the Registration status – “Require admin activation” option in the user role settings?

I am also having this issue.
Neither admin or user is receiving email when registration form is submitted.
Note:
– I have all email notifications activated
– I have two forms, one which requires email link activation and one which requires admin activation – neither emails get sent.
– I have checked junk mail to no avail
– I have tested with two different form as well as different email service providers.
– I am using Ultimate Member version 1.3.88

Using Ultimate Member with email validation – settings for member registrations to be validated by email are set but they are being registered as users even without verification and this can lead to spam.
How can this bug be fixed ?
The version of UM is 1.3.88
Under “Registration Options” of User Roles, the registration Status is set to require email verification. However, members are being added to user database even if they do not verify by email.
Can you fix this issue?

Sorry, I’ve buyed the um-verified-users and seems to have the same issue:
EVERY NEW USER IS ALLOWED TO ENTER THE MEMBER AREA:
— No activation link is sent (in normal mode)
— No authorization e-mail is sent to administrator (in verified mode)
— tested with all email notifications activated
— Ultimate Member version: 1.3.88
Please fix!
