Verification not Working

    I was having issues with CF7, so I installed VFB on the site. Since I did that (yesterday afternoon) there have been around a dozen SPAM submissions on the form, even with verification. This seems a little out of control. Is there a way to make it harder for spammers to attack the form without upgrading to PRO? My client likely won’t go for that.

    I have the form in 2 places on the site. Both are in popups of some sort. I have found documentation stating that validation and captcha have a history of not working properly in popups.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for a workaround? My client has been getting SPAMMED like crazy.

    Hi, I think in your case the best option is to go pro. What security plugin do you have installed? Are all the spam coming from a particular country?

    HI,
    The free version has the two digit verification for preventing Spam. Other than that you will have to use a security plugin or use VFB Pro.

    Hello.

    The issue wasn’t with the verification itself, it was with the verification not working in a POPUP. This has been long resolved, though, as this is a couple months old.
