There are a couple of backslashes in line 65 of w3-total-cache.php that are generating a fatal error.

EDIT – On further looking, the zip file is riddled with files with backslashes, mainly in class names.

  • Interesting. It works for me but Yoast SEO must be turned off (in all of my websites that have this combination!) or there 500 Internal Server Error everywhere.

The backslashes are namespace identifiers – which I should have known, which makes me a bit of a dork.

The problem in my case was client’s hosting still running PHP V5.2, which doesn’t deal with namespaces.

My bad, wish I could delete the thread.
