• 1.0 release broke a completely functioning plugin. I’ve had to revert to 0.8 for now. I don’t know if this is specific to Elementor, but after upgrading, the content just simply doesn’t display and adds a ton of spacing (albeit, empty space with no visible elements) around where the content is supposed to show. There’s an error on the admin-ajax call, I’ve disabled plugins that relate to managing permissions on WP REST and other security related plugins. Nothing fixes it. As soon as I reverted back to 0.8, everything works again.

Please do more regression testing, at least in regards to Elementor and the Astra theme. That’s where I’m experiencing the issues.

With that being said, thank you for creating such a great plugin! 🙂

    Hi @jryan719,

thank you for reporting this issue.

I suppose you have request=”remote” in your shortcode, haven’t you?
If so, I suggest you update to v. 0.1.1.

If not, we will investigate deeper.

    Have a great day!

@giuse thanks for the quick reply over the weekend! I appreciate the great support.

Actually, I didn’t have request=“remote”… The last time I tried using that it didn’t work…? I can try that with the latest update and report back.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

    You are welcome @jryan719!
I was able to reproduce the same issue only by adding request=”remote” to the shortcode. If you say that you haven’t that parameter, I’m a little afraid the new version will not help in your case.
Strange, because without adding request=”remote” nothing in the code should give the issue that you reported. This is why I was almost sure you had request=”remote”.

But if you have time and the possibility to test the new version, please let me know in any case if it works.
In the meantime, I will investigate deeper and try to reproduce the same issue without request=”remote”.

    Have a great day!

@giuse Interesting! I just updated to 0.1.1 and had the same issue. However, after adding request=”remote” the shortcode content loaded as expected. Very perplexing. I’ll be interested to see if the issue is specific to my environment or if others have similar issues. Nevertheless, thanks for pushing out a hotfix that resolved my issue! I’ll do more debugging on my end to see if it’s some sort of strange edge case that I can possibly help with.

    Thanks again!

    All the best,
    Josh
