Version 1.3.0 translation issue ?

Hello,

I am encountering an issue with the plugin translation.

I don’t know why because I have been using the version 1.2.10 on a website and I used locotranslate.

I did create a new translation for French and everything worked as expected

And I am trying to use your (fantastic :) ) plugin on another website but the translation doesn’t seems to be working :-/

Version 1.3.0

thanks for reaching out.
Did you click the synchronize button? I did not make changes to how the strings are translated so I’m pretty sure this has to be some other problem.
If you want to contribute to the official translations you can do so here: https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/wc-donation-platform/stable/fr/default/

I indeed hit the sync button, cleared my cache but still no just i don’t understand why 🙁

Thank you very much again Flinn for your reply,

I got it to work but I had to use the “Personalized (or custom ?)”

Instead of author:

When you create a new language and need to choose a folder for the .po file

Is that normal ?

This is actually the recommended setting because it will not be overwritten when updating the plugin.
