Version 1.16.1 no gallery creation

Since updating to version 1.16.1 of Jigoshop with WP 4.1.1 I can not create a gallery for my products. After updating the product it just wipes out the gallery. I deactivated all plugins and switched theme to 2015 and the issue still exists! I can add a featured image but that is it, I can not create a gallery without inserting it.
