When I re-installed 3.0, my previous (i.e. the one that I have been using for the past 6 months or so) button re-appeared with its previous form and functionality.
So 3.0 works fine, but 3.1, not so much. The plugin is still telling me to update to 3.1, but I’m not planning on doing so until the problem with 3.1 is fixed. (Sorry if that sounded snarky — it wasn’t meant to.)
Oops. 3.01 is the version I’m having trouble with.
I downloaded the update and the Auto Responsive box is checked under each of my buttons, but the feature doesn’t appear to be working for me. Do I need to manually edit each button for each different type of device?
@bas Schuiling I had PHP 5.3 Due to your post I have changed to PHP 5.6 and now it works. Thank You
@inmom. Most problems accur – for some reason not clear to me – when the WordPress updater decides not to deactivate – activate the plugin. That is -always- needed for this upgrade because it uses a different, most efficient, database table.
Today or tomorrow we’ll probably release an updated version with some of the feedback with it and a button to migrate buttons manually. But the working of it won’t change.
@dillan Yes auto responsive needs some better interface I believe 🙂 .
Auto-responsive basically will try to make a ‘smart’ guess how responsive will go in most of the cases, but of course this will not be the solution in all circumstances. If you uncheck it, you’ll see the manual settings of responsive ( the core of the feature really ).
At the moment auto-responsive only does something for the lower resolutions. We are hoping through feedback to get an overview how people would like their buttons auto-mutilated on other resolutions 😀
@lothar. Strange, since it should be working on 5.3 …
