@frednat – Thanks for the report and sorry for any issues.
While the design/appearance of the Insert Gallery Window is different, the functionality should be the same. For example, the way in which you select and insert galleries on a page should feel nearly exactly the same. Can you clarify what you were doing differently that you can’t do now? A screenshot might be helpful to understand.
For example, if you are inserting each gallery separately (sounds like you are), then you’d need to click the Add Gallery button for each. That’s the same now as before. If you are inserting them as one gallery, you’d have to select them all in the Gallery drop down inside the Insert Gallery Window, but that should also be the same.
I should also add that if you already had 82 galleries on your front page, those should all be there.

On sorting, that behavior should also be exactly the same. If you are not seeing the images, I’m wondering if there is some javascript error that’s breaking JS on your page. Is there a chance you could take a screenshot of your Javascript console. While looking at the sort page, just go to View > Developer > Javascript console in Chrome (or the equivalent in Safari/FF), and grab a screenshot. That will tell us if you have errors there.
As an example, that screenshot looks like this for me: https://monosnap.com/file/LkhAj3kZDofllidfaRW8hNoRttrDlU

Thanks.
@edanzer, thanks very much for the swift reply. I’ve loaded a simple test gallery on a test page with 7 galleries. I misdiagnosed my problem: the problem I’m getting is that it doesn’t seem to remember that I’ve selected galleries when I come back to edit the gallery.

It loads fine when I load the page. I can see the text version fine, it looks like this:
[ngg_images source=”galleries” container_ids=”17,18,19,20,21,22,23″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_pro_masonry” size=”180″ padding=”10″ display_type_view=”default” ngg_triggers_display=”always” captions_enabled=”0″ captions_display_sharing=”1″ captions_display_title=”1″ captions_display_description=”1″ captions_animation=”slideup” order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]
However when I click on the pencil icon to edit, none of the galleries are in there anymore: there’s only the first gallery.
I’ve captured a video of what’s happening, let me know if you need some console screenshots.
The video can be found here:

Hi guys, exactly the same issue on my side!
Thanks a lot for your assistance.
Hello, Have you been able to solve this? I still have this huge issue too… Thanks a lot for your support and feedback 😉
I have had no solution so far. I’m still experiencing the problem.
I’m experiencing the same problem in Firefox and Chrome.
And microsoft edge. It always seems to remember the first gallery in the list but not any others.

Hi @frednat!
I’m wondering if you could let us know the current version of NextGen Gallery.
We recently have a major update.
Could you please try to re-insert some galleries in a testing page and check if is solved?
Feel free to write us back!
