Your plugin 2.9.1 and previously versions worked just fine with WordPress 4.1.8 when in a page using the code:

Update: Now I have just installed version 2.9.1 again – and my pages are working again (so the error do not show in the link above any more).

Same Issue: collaboration together with VC Page-Builder [VC ShortCoder] works very well & fine with version 2.9.1 and it’s complete broken after upgrade with version 3.0

For now I’d say revert to 2.9.1. I’ll take a look next week after the holiday.

You asked for a detailed description of what went wrong.

I had under WP 4.1.8 (notice the WP version) installed your version 2.9.1 and did the automatic update from within WP – Plugin by clicking the update to 3.0 link. No error messages – it confirmed the update to went well and reactivated the plugin automatic without any problem.

But when I then went to the above mentioned page nothing was inserted. See the code example in my above post of december 31, 2015 – the first in this page. And that is the error. None of the 3 pages were inserted – the text which should have been inserted in the page was just missing.

Then I manually installed your version 2.9.1 again and now my page inserts the 3 pages text I want again.

I do not think I can give you a better description, so I hope this is a help for you to localize the error in your version 3.0.

Version 3.0.1 does still not work for me. Same problem. Nothing is inserted on my page:

You can see my code in the first post in this thread.

Perhaps it could have something to do with the actual links to the 3 pages which should be inserted, here is the 3 links in full:
http://www.bispeparken.dk/om-bispeparken/servicekoncept,
http://www.bispeparken.dk/om-bispeparken/udvalg-i-bispeparken, and
http://www.bispeparken.dk/om-bispeparken/klubber-i-bispeparken. The 3 pages are all not in the root but in subdirectories, but that have not been a problem until now. None of these 4 pages have been changed for several months.

I have now manually revert back to 2.9.1 and this version make my pages work again as expected i.e. the 3 pages text are inserted correct in the main page. If you follow the above 4 links you can see for yourself if you want to.
