Hello,
Sorry, I used a shortcut that only works in PHP 5.4 or >. I just made a new release, that one should work for you. Please let me know 🙂
Thanks for handling that! I was able to install now, for some reason the retina images are not updating.
What the page would do prior to update is load standard image and then auto update to retina file @2x.
I’ve set my logo source back to what it was before the plugin update.
And I went to Media tab and ran the retina bulk update again but it did not work either.
Could there be something that I did not set-up properly this time around?
I’ll keep playing around to see if I can fix it, please let me know any other helpful tips.
Thanks again.
I am afraid the update has an impact, it wasn’t a little change, rather a big one. Would help more installs to work with it, customized one especially but I could test only on my installs (which are normal).
The generation process doesn’t work you mean? You didn’t need to use the generation process if your files were created already. You mean they weren’t detected anymore?
Also, what method are you using?
Thanks for the clarification 🙂
Yes they are not generating all the versions, the “Media Sizes Retina-ized” are all red.
I checked the previous Logo images that were processed and the retina versions they were generated whatever size they could.
The Logo image PNG is 266 x 266, and even though it doesnt meet the 2000px recommended.
Is there a workaround for smaller files like these logos?
If the logo image you upload is 266×266 that is not very surprising to have everything red, most image sizes are bigger than that… and then it is double for retina 😉
It doesn’t look like there is something abnormal for me. What surprised me is that you said before it was working and now it’s not.
For smaller files like logo, you probably use the full-size on your website already. To have a retina version of it you should either use the Pro version of the plugin then upload a full-size retina version of the file through the dashboard. Or without Pro, manually upload it through FTP. Then it will work.
