Update WooCommerce to version 4.0.1 and keep getting the “WooCommerce database update required” notification:

Hi there,
This can be caused by an incorrect entry in your database which can be corrected manually.

If you are not comfortable editing the database directly, I suggest that you ask your host for assistance.

The table in questions is wc_admin_notes

Search for wc-update-db-reminder

That will identify the row in question.

Then you simply need to change the Status column to actioned.

Hopefully that helps remove the persistent update message!
