Version: 4.4 update give 500 error

    Hi,

    Just update to the latest version 4.4, I am running WP 4.9.1 update ran ok then gave me a 500 error on the site. I have had to rename plugin folder to get the site back up and running.

    Had a quick look at log files:
    Error 500
    mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /var/www/vhosts/wingchunhalesowen.co.uk/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-delivery-notes/includes/class-wcdn-print.php on line 514

    Please advise

    Yes the same Error 500 happened to me too. It happened when I tried to change the logo size following a previous thread ( wcdn-template-functions file)

    Same as the error log above expect ‘on line 550’

    I had to restore the previous back up of my site to get it back online

    Please can you resolve and let me know

    Hi Alan,

    I apologize that you had to face inconvenience due to our plugin.

    Yes, PHP short tag was inadvertently added in the plugin in v4.4, which was causing an error. This has been fixed in v4.4.1 of the plugin.

    Can you please take the backup of your site and try to update the v4.4.1 in your store?

    Please let me know the results.

    I apologize that you had to faced inconvenience due to our plugin.

    If you had the same error after updating to the v4.4 then you can take the backup of your site and update the v4.4.1. As we have fixed the issue in it.

    If you have another issue apart from what Alan has mentioned above then it would be great if you can share with us that error message. So we can look into it and help you fix it.
