The rollback works conditionally for me. No send notification is sent, but the message arrives nevertheless. But must be corrected urgently!

Having the same issue on our site
Tried reverting to earlier version. No joy. Hoping developer sees this issue and fixes whatever is wrong.

this is a little bit crazy, installed version 5.4 again today and suddenly it works. No idea why this did not work a few days ago. Now in any case everything seems to work!
Possibly another update that has arrived in the time and had something to do with it!

it was probably a problem with the caching plugin in connection with the JavaScript minimization. After the last update of the cache plugin, contact form 7 also works in version 5.4.
