Hi! That’s not good. Cerber Security is being developed with security and performance in mind. If someone comes across any performance issue, that indicates that there is something wrong with the website configuration.
Here is the link: https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/wp-cerber.6.2.zip

Hi Gioni
Thank you very much for the fast response and the link for version 6.2
The speed is back to normal again.
I don’t believe there is anything wrong with my configuration. My health check reports everything is fine apart from a slightly out of date version of cURL, and my site runs very well.
Could it not be possible the issue is caused by the wordpress and php versions and the plugins that are installed in a particular installation?
If you want to investigate this further I can provide full and detailed information from my health check plugin but I would prefer not to share all this information publicly.
Thanks for all your help.
Best regards
John
After updating to 6.5, every site that I manage with Cerber installed is reporting PHP errors. All errors begin with:
PHP Fatal error occurred: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function cerber_is_admin_page() in
I should note that this only occurs with Standard mode and it does not occur in Legacy mode.
Is there a way for me to send the rest of this to you off of this forum for review since it contains detailed database information?
I can also send a sample htaccess file where Standard mode is enabled since I am assuming that the errors are being caused by the way Cerber is writing to that htaccess file and possibly conflicting with other coding in that htaccess file.

Hi
I seem to have discovered the reason for the reduction in speed and as you pointed out it isn’t caused by the version 6.5 of your plugin
My gtmetrix results vary depending on whether they are from the London server or the Vancouver server in Canada. The default server is Vancouver when I just go to gtmetrix but if I log in I have selected London for my nominated server.
LONDON
PageSpeed Score YSlow Score Requests
(96%) (87%) 36
VANCOUVER
PageSpeed Score YSlow Score Requests
(100%) (93%) 23
I would have thought if anything that with London being nearer it might give slightly better results and I don’t understand why the number of requests should be different!
Pingdom Tools tallies with the Vancouver results.
Anyway – long story short I’m back on version 6.5
Best regards
John

Good news! When I said “wrong website configuration” I meant some plugin is misconfigured so it may be the cause of performance issues.
