Version 6 different result

    Version 5.3.6 did what I wanted, but version 6 does not.
    I cannot make buttons appear under posts on my homepage without having them appear under excerpts of posts as well.
    What am I missing, overseeing?

    Hi delcour,

    Thanks for letting us know about your issue.

    When configuring the tools for above and below content, have you tried unchecking the options for category pages and archive pages? Category pages, archive pages and the homepage are the most likely places in a theme to use excerpts. Are you seeing the buttons else where that you’re not expecting?

    Everthying is unchecked except posts.
    Also now when choosing icons, I get the wrong ones even though I save and refresh.
    Maybe another plugin is conflicting.
