Yes, there are CSS changes.
If I could strongly suggest that the names of existing CSS styles not be changed in updates unless required for some reason – for example if you have say 1/4 of your users doing some kind of CSS tweaks, and the plugin upgrade causes them to spend 5 minutes fixing their CSS, there goes 400 hours of work.
This goes for any other changes that may affect the display and utilization of existing installations – as far as possible I hope you guys would make updates not break the display for existing users.

Yes, you are right. Major changes like this happens in a long time interval and it was necessary in this release. We always try not to override the old function names, class names etc.

I had 28 CSS changes and the update messed some of them. Time to change things up again.
