  • Hello,
Ye, this is possible with OceanWP. Go to Customize > Header > General and select Vertical Style from the dropdown. You can set Close or Open header as per your need. If you want to use closed header and open it on click then check the checkbox for the Closed Header.

    Hello,

same problem in OceanWP. I gone to Cusomize > Header > General > selected Vertical style, but I have not find how to Open header. Where is the button ?

After that, do we have to include something in the header ?

It would be simpler if we could choose Left Side in Customize > Menus.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

Did you check the header on the live page, not on the Customizer? On a smaller screen, it will automatically close. To find the closed header option, scroll down the customizer panel.

    Thanks for responding,

yes I checkek on the live page on my computer screen. I explored the customizer panel but not find the option. Where is it exactly ?
    Customize > Header > ???
    Customize > Menus > ????

I find the Close header checkbox in Customize > Header > General > but even if the box is unchecked, the Menu stay closed on the live page.

Do we have to include something more than the Site title and the Menu in the header to display it permanently ?

This is the same issue I’m having. Whether or not the “close header” option is checked, the vertical menu stays closed. I also don’t see where to customize it in other ways like I mentioned in my original post.

    Thanks 🙂

If you want to make the header closed, then enable the ‘Closed Header’ option otherwise not. Try to view the live page instead of the customizer preview. Also, share the site link so that I can check the issue if it doesn’t work.
