    I don’t need this plugin! But still, it hangs out time in the admin panel, requires it to be installed and there is no cancel button (even if I deleted the plugin itself, the information with the requirement to install it does not go away)

    That’s definitely not normal, if you delete the Jetpack plugin from the Plugins section of your site’s Dashboard, there will be absolutely no way that Jetpack itself would continue to bother you.

    There is an exception though, Jetpack may be required by another plugin you’re using or even your theme, and _that_ may be what’s prompting you to reinstall Jetpack.
