Very Bad Compatibility/Updates/Stability

    It breaks about 2-3 times per year and each time requires hours to fix, this last time was a break in the lightbox that required hours editing all the galleries and every image to keep them working in the latest version. Such a waste, will not be renewing premium license, will be converting to Jetpack plugin’s galleries. highly recommend avoiding this plugin, it will cause you headaches down the road.

    Thanks for the offer but it’s not necessary, I can debug and fix myself. This review is just my honest opinion after so many years of dealing with this plugin – it’s rare to have to go back to the same plugin for so many different issues so many times. This latest problem (which was the last straw) was with an update, for some reason the images in all the galleries lost their url ‘media file’ link – thus breaking all lightboxes from working (with the albums addon). A simple enough fix, just extremely time consuming and another in a long string of random breakdowns from this plugin, granted a couple of the past issues were theme/plugin conflicts that couldn’t directly be attributed to envira – but there have been more than enough envira specific issues to finally warrant this review.
