It’s really a very effective and useful plugin. I subscribed to the paid version, some translation, to support the authors and to update the lists.

Especially since more and more AI bots are “pumping” our content…

You don’t even need to create or modify a robots.txt or htaccess file !

It is imperative to manage bots and whitelist tables, especially at the beginning.

You must proceed with caution and common sense when making adjustments. For example, it is not recommended to use certain functions (firewall blocking, etc.) if you have installed other specialized plugins.

When you spend time properly adjusting the plugin and then controlling the bots on the sites and those that are bad, it is very effective.
