After using this fabulous forum with truly nothing less than EXCELLENT support, I would like to suggest something very important.

I have uploaded less than 2% or 3% of the contents that I will be uploading, and this is without any members participating yet. I noticed that everytime I add a new child forum, and wish to add more to the parent forum, the plugin does not automatically go back to the parent forum to allow me to continue to add more child forums, and instead, I have to search the entire forum for the parent forum that I had just added a child forum to. This is such a terrible waste of time, and I could save so much time if the forum is set so that after adding a new forum, user should automatically be brought back to the parent forum that was just added to. Do you get my point? For example:

Parent Forum = Vets in Antipolo City

1st Child Forum = XXXS Vet Clinic

after adding the above, the user should be brought back to the Parent Forum, in this case Vets in Antipolo City, but instead, the user is brought back to the main Forum in the dashboard, so the user has to search again for the parent forum, in this case Vets in Antipolo City

This is truly an important feature that should be implemented.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for such a wonderful forum and such fabulous support.

    Thank you @manoman,
First if you’re going to have tons of sub-forums in the “Animals & Pets” category, I’d recommend change the category layout to Simplified or Extended layout. The Thread layout doesn’t show the hierarchy:
    — Category
    —- Parent Forum
    ——- Sub Forum

Second, I’d recommend not go back and search for parent forum. You can click on [add new] button and select the parent forum in the drop-down of Parent Forum on the Add Forum screen.

Even more, you can create all sub-forums without even selecting any parent, then go to the forum list and set parent-child hierarchy by dragging and dropping forum panels, then clicking on the [Save forums order and hierarchy] button below:
