How does it work exactly ?
Which part are you referring to? Are you wondering how to use the interface, how we create the interface, or how we change theme stylesheets once you’ve chosen your options?

How the plugin change stylesheet. Looking at the support forum I see there was some problems related to cache.
Those issues were in a much older version. All caching issues should be resolved in the new version.
When you click the “save” button in the WordPress Customizer, the appropriate CSS is output into your theme after the defaults, causing the appropriate overrides.
We write CSS specific to each theme by hand to assure that overrides will work correctly.
