    Hi Tobias,

I want to create a table with aprox. 5500 rows but I cannot. I tried to upload the table in different ways, but only 2428 rows were recognized. Instead of uploading the table, I also tried to create a new table with 6000 rows but, again, only 2428 rows were created.

I’ve reading the forum topics but I coudn’t find a solution to this problem. I’ve seen that, sometimes, the host establishes a limit of lines, but it seems this is not my problem because I was able to publish the 5500 lines in this page: http://zonas.comlu.com/?page_id=2

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hi,

the problem might no be the number of lines, but the number of total cells.
I have no idea why this has worked once for you, but does not now 🙁
The only idea I have is a server issue, with limits e.g. from the Suhosin extension.
If that’s not it, I dont’ have a solution unfortunately, and you might need to develop a custom solution, e.g. with a mySQL table.

Thanks Tobias. I didn’t understand why you said it worked once for me. I was never able to create a 5500 rows table. On the other hand, is it not possible to increase the number of total cells?

    Hi,

but you said “I was able to publish the 5500 lines in this page”, so I assumed that you successfully had a table that large…

If I was wrong with that assumption, this confirms that there’s likely some server issue that is the problem.
There is no limit of rows/cells within WP-Table Reloaded, so there’s nothing that I can increase.
Everything depends on whether the server can handle such large tables.

However, if it does not work, I would look for a different solution (with a custom mySQL table), if I were you, as that should be much more efficient and ressource saving for your site.

    Regards,
    Tobias
