• I bought a paid subscription, in the hope that the CDN will work faster … As a result, my website began to open for a few seconds more slowly – because of waiting for images to be fetched from slowly Optimole’s CDN. As I understand – If I disable using Optimole CDN (image urls replacement) – this plugin is useless – because it stores all optimized images only in CDN and not on your server. Waste of money.

    Hello @alextikhonov,

You might see a slightly slower response until we manage to cache first the image. This is done only to the first requests, i.e around a few seconds after you connect Optimole, all the subsequent requests are delivered from the CDN (if you have other suggestion here, let us know ).

The CDN isn’t slow for sure, we are using CloudFront which is the best around and the whole service is powered by AWS. Neither on architecture nor on CDN we are trying to save money on the expense of performance.

    Have a nice day!

This plugin is a speed demon for serving images. 1 star rating is so cruel and unfair.

At start I also thought it it slow, because images didn’t sync with server yet, but I continued checking and finally everything went really fast and while my desktop Google Speed score for product pages was already 100, Optimole alone made mobile score go from 75 to 95.

I think there should be some information about ongoing sync and when the plugin is ready.

I waited for the end of processing all images. When using the plugin, the site opened 7 seconds later than usual. Checked not only from your computer – but also from other services such as pingdom and etc… The results were terrible.
