Very Slow to Process!

    Hi there!

    Just installed resmushit. Very slow to process photos. I mean, VERY SLOW. The progress bar is not moving. For current status, click here.

    I read all other (related) support inquiries listed in this forum, and still haven’t found a specific solution that will address and fix this issue. The only way to find out if the plug-in is working is to “refresh” the page and click the “Optimize all pictures” button over and over again.

    Oh well, perhaps an update to the plug-in will take care of this. I will refrain from providing a review until this has been addressed (hopefully, soon).

    Good intentions and its free, so kudos on that! Keep up the good work. The GUI looks great.

    Hi Jetxpert!

    Thanks for using our plugin.
    When you have a large amount of pictures, it’s slow, as it will optimize pictures one by one. What’s more, when you upload a picture, WP is creating different sizes for this picture, so instead of optimizing 1 picture, reSmush.it will optimize at least 5 or 6 pictures !

    Please be patient, we’ll try to release a new feature that will optimize the pictures using a cron method instead, so it will be transparent for the user 🙂

    I came here to ask the same. Is there a cron method we can use trough CLI or cpanel? thanks
