Vicomi Dashboard not loading when using HTTPS in backend
-
Hello,
because of more security and privacy the backend of the wordpress site, which is using Vicomi Feelbacks, is only reachable over HTTPS. And this is also the problem in this case. The Vicomi sites does not offer any HTTPS support and so it is not possible to get the Feelbacks widget working on HTTPS sites (which is a bit awkward in these days in my personal opinion).
The loading of the widget is blocked by the browser because of “mixed content”. However, here is the exact message Google Chrome is providing in the debugging console:
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://domain.tld/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=vicomi-feelbacks' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource 'http://dashboard.vicomi.com/'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.Maybe the free SSL certificate by StartSSL is a cheap possibility to provide HTTPS on the Vicomi sites?
Thanks!
