Video/Audio Sitemaps?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to make video/audio sitemaps with this plugin? I would like to have Google index my videos and audios on the website.

    Also do we need a specific plugin (besides this one) for indexing to work?

    Unless you have thousands of videos on your website uploaded every day, you do not need a video/audio sitemap.

    I understand other plugins or SEO “experts” might tell you otherwise, but the whole point of sitemaps is to allow search engines to process large, complicated data fast.

    In 2021, Google does not even need that. You should be just fine with our basic (yet very premium in its own right) sitemap.

    What about audio files uploaded on the website? Is there anything I should do so that Google can index them as podcasts maybe?

    For podcasts, please see https://support.google.com/podcast-publishers/answer/9476656.

    You may need to allow indexing of feeds, which you can do via The SEO Framework’s Feed Settings (“Allow indexing of feeds?”).
