    Why doesn’t the video in Stories play in the background, but just stay static?

    Videos must be served via HTTPS. Your whole site is using HTTP though. That’s why your stories currently fail AMP validation as well.

    I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to get that fixed. After that, try uploading a new video to a story.
