Yikes. That is obviously not how it should work. In version 4.4 I fixed a different bug that halted the replacement function but it sounds like that introduced a new bug.
What format are the original videos generally? I’m assuming not MP4. And what format are you replacing them with? Are you also encoding to a custom format? Does this only happen when more than one original video is in the queue? Have you set the plugin to do more than 1 simultaneous encode?
Right, not mp4, often mov or flv.
No custom format.
Replace with the different format (Ogg/ Webm / Mobile / Orignal)
Happen with one or more video in the queue
For exempla, if I put 2 simultaneous encode whereas there are 4 conversions to do (Original Replacement to mp4 / Mobile / WebM / Ogg), the problem will appears.
So the conversion will begin with Original and Mobile and queued WebM and Ogg.
But when the Original is finished to convert, the original file is deleted and WebM will fail to start because the file like “my_movie.mov” is not found.
I’m able to replicate the bug and I’m working on a fix. You can follow my progress on Github with this issue.
Thank you for your investment. I will check your progress.
Hello,
Have you got some news concern this bug ?
No, I have a lot of other work right now and this free plugin is not a priority. I already told you where to follow my progress on GitHub. Asking for updates will not get it done any sooner.
