Any large changes to the lightbox would require a reasonably large update – as I currently use an external lightbox library for simplicity. Perhaps a custom lightbox could be on the books in a future release.
Just for clarity, did you want the image in the lightbox to link back to the post?
And, regarding the video: did you want the user to click on a link in the gallery, have the lightbox open up, and have that lightbox contain a video – presumably sourced from the original image’s post? That would be a large and fairly complex addition for a very niche need. At this stage I don’t believe this would be added to a future update.
Cactus Masonry should be compatible with external lightbox libraries and plugins however – so if you do find a lightbox that better fits your needs, you can disable the cactus lightbox and activate the new one instead.
