Video grabber

Hi,

I was wondering if there’s a plugin I can use to grab all embedded video of my blog.

I know this might infringe copyright but let me explain my case.

I’m running a personal blog where I talk about many things. One of the things I love to do is to post videos from the internet that are interesting, funny…. In fact I have been doing this for some years now.

Just for fun, sometimes I spend some time reading post from years ago. I’ve realized that many of those old videos have disappear from the source (mainly youtube). So now I have a black screen instead of the video.

I was thinking that since I would like to keep my blog as a kind of a diary, it would be great to have a plugin that replaces the post embed code with the original video, uploading it to my server.

I know there are plugins to do this for pictures like Media Tools (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/media-tools/). So I was thinking that there has to be another for videos.

Just to clarify, I don’t intend to steal other people work. In fact I always give credit and a link to original content.
