video module issue

    hello dear
    I created 2 pages using beaver builder and both pages has exactly the same elements
    I added video module to both pages.
    I added o-embed video from youtube to the first page and the second page I added facebook video
    I tested both page in gtmetrix
    the result is page with youtube video has better performance than page with facebook
    PageSpeed Score (91%) vs (86%)
    YSlow Score (80%) vs (76%)
    Fully Loaded Time 2.6s vs 8.6s
    Total Page Size 1.19MB vs 2.28MB
    Requests 45 vs 147
    so as you seed the difference is very big
    my question is this issue because a problem between the module and facebook embed
    or this is the normal behavior of facebook requests

    Hey @makmerghen,

    The Video module simply embeds the video from its source, it doesn’t load any additional feature to the video itself so it’s similar to embedding them directly to the page without using our builder. The Facebook embed might just make more requests.

    You can try dropping both the embed codes to 2 pages not using our builder and you’ll most likely get a similar difference. 🙂
