video player controls

Disabling controls disables all controls. It’s designed for people who build their own separate controls or want to prevent all user interaction. Another user asked the opposite question a few weeks ago.

Enable the controls again and try a modified version of my answer to that question. Add this to your custom CSS:

.kg-video-js-skin .vjs-control-bar {
    display: none;
}

Sorry, I think this will work:

.kg-video-js-skin.vjs-has-started .vjs-control-bar {
    display: none;
}
