Video Schema error

Hello,
I was hoping someone can help me solve this issue that I’ve run into.
I’m seeing many pages on Google Search console with errors. These are video schema errors of 2 types –
1. Missing field ‘description’
2. Missing field ‘uploadDate’

I’ve gone through this KB – https://kb.yoast.com/kb/google-search-console-video-schema-report/
and I think the errors are originating from the Yoast Plugin.
The KB says that Yoast does not output video schema, but the source code seems to suggest that it does.

The schema output for VideoObject seems to be generated by the Yoast plugin.

Missing field ‘description’: the KB suggests that the meta description needs to be updated.

My meta descriptions for the screenshot post and other posts are complete. But the plugin seems to be missing this data

Missing field ‘uploadDate’: the KB suggests that the plugin pulls this element from the database – in my case youtube. Upload dates are available on youtube and it seems to be available in the youtube metadata as well

Please advice on how I can disable the videoObject schema or get the plugin to pull the right data.
