Videopress URL doesn’t load.

    I am trying to use a VideoPress video URL in the external URL option for a class but the video never loads. The video player loads up but the video never plays. I tried using the shortcode and embed options but neither of those even load the video player. Any thoughts. VideoPress holds the majority of our course videos.

    BTW if I paste the video URL a the content section for the course like the About section the video loads and plays just fine.

    Thank you for reaching out. The external video field only supports direct video URLs with file extensions like .mp4. If you are using a shortcode or embed code, please ensure the format is correct. You may also share a sample VideoPress link here so we can analyze its format.

    The VideoPress link does not have a file extension. So that may be the issue. Strange it works the the description window though.

    I found a way to get a VideoPress link with the .mp4 extension and it works now.
