Vietnamese does not display properly

My site using Vietnamese and when i tried to create PDF Invoice using PDF Invoices, it did not display properly.
I found out there was some same problem:

I tried to install WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips + mPDF.
But when i activated this Plugin, I could not create PDF anymore.
So is there anyway to fix this?

Hi! The mpdf extension is specifically for RTL (=right to left) languages such as Arabic. I dont know why mpdf the plugin doesn’t work for you, but thats a separate issue.

Vietnamese characters are not included in the default font, so if you want to use it you will need to install a font that does support Vietnamese, see: Using custom fonts.

I tried to use custom fonts, but it seems not working.
I tried to add those code to style.css and actually, font display changes, but it still has ??? character.

As I used custom vietnamese fonts, The pdf only show different style of Text, prolem not fixed.

There’s a problem with this font, the characters are not mapped correctly:

Please try another font. I tried locally with a unicode complete version or Arial, and it shows the characters correctly for me.

Also make sure to double check that the MB String extension is enabled on your server (you can check this in the Status tab of the PDF Invoice settings).
