View a theme via URI

I saw on thoughtmechanics that you could view his blog by sending a command through the uri

for instance: http://www.thoughtmechanics.com/blog/index.php?wptheme=Benevolence

i have tried passing that argument on my index.php file but i keep getting the selected theme. Any ideas?
