View Certificate button not working

    Upon successful completion of a course, there is a View Certificate button. Hovering on this button shows a URL and will proceed to the linked certificate.

    However, after navigating away from that page, any other instance of the View Certificate button is not linked to anything. Hover shows nothing and clicking has no effect.

    This behavior is also true on the Sensei LMS demo site.

    Hi @ackris,

    The View Certificate shows up in two places.

    1. On the Course Completed page once you have finished a course
    2. On My Courses page it shows up for courses which the currently logged in user has compleated.

    If you visit the Course Completed page without completing a course, the view certificate button (if showing there) will not work.

    any other instance of the View Certificate button is not linked to anything. 

    Can you give me some more detail on this? Where else do you see the view certificate button?

    1 is correct. 2 is incorrect. The link to view certificate on My Course pages does not result in downloading or viewing a certificate.

    I could not reproduce your issue on the demo site and in my test site; can you please file a bug report on GitHub? We’ll add the correct label after you submit the bug report to speed up the investigation.
