View/Edit Posts in Dashboard

    Hi,

    Loving the plugin, but just a quick question (I’m a developer, so feel free to throw code my way). Is there an easy way to view the archived posts in the dashboard so that my client can edit the archived posts? For now, when we try to view archived posts, we only see those posts that are published- it seems impossible to edit archived posts. Ive applied the filters to view the posts in the front-end, but I’d like the capability to edit them just as I would a draft.

    Hi laichejl, thanks for your questions.

    1. Any user with the read_private_posts capability will be able to view archived posts in the WP Admin.

    2. The topic of editing archived content has been brought up before.

    The short answer for this is no, archived content cannot be edited or altered. If you want to change something that’s been archived you will need to transition the post status to a “pre-published” state, such as Draft.
