    change php.ini allow_url_fopen=on

    I changed the php.ini file but I’m still getting the same warning as I wrote above. I don’t know if this is something with my host or what. If I have File Status as Hidden I can view the post but can’t download. If I have Public selected but have post type set to private then I can Download but I can’t view the post on the front end.

    Thanks for your time bhaldie.
    I’m also using Ithemes Security and the User Access Manager plugin. I did turn them off to see if that was the problem but the same warning was present.

    can you try to this instead see if you get any better results allow_url_fopen=0.
