    Hi
    I just need to know if your plugin counts the views on youtube. Or what’s seen in my website will not count as a view with your plugin.

    Thanks for your question.

    Our plugin fully supports YouTube’s official embed player, and views will be counted correctly when videos are played in accordance with YouTube’s guidelines.

    To ensure this, please go to:
    YouTube Gallery → Settings → Player
    and set Player Type to “Native YouTube Embed”.

    Also, please make sure Autoplay is disabled, as YouTube typically counts views only when playback is initiated by user interaction (clicking the red play button inside their native player).

    Regarding galleries:

    • For a single video, views are counted as expected.
    • In a gallery, the first video (played directly via the YouTube player) can count as a view.
    • When switching between videos, playback may be handled via YouTube’s API, and those interactions may not always be counted as views.

    This behavior is defined by YouTube’s system and applies to all third-party integrations, not just our plugin.
