Virtue Theme: website has crashed

    My website admin page/dashboard has crashed after working on a Pluggin Metaslider editor. I cannot go back to the dashboard. Have I lost everything? How can i get back to the dashboard?
    I have this message on the screen:

    Fatal error: Call to protected TGM_Plugin_Activation::__construct() from invalid context in /home/fionamckay82/public_html/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 956

    No you havent lost anything, just disable the theme and website will be back online.

    you need to login to FTP/File manager provided by your Hosting guys and deactivate your theme by renaming it to Virtue_premium.HOLD .

    folder structure

    Wp-content
  Themes
    Virtue_premium

    contact your theme devleoper on how to fix it

    Hi Ializ,

    Many thanks! now the dashboard is working again and it seems everything is there. Thank God! Yet i cannot access to the website.

    Is it something that my theme developer will fix?

    please select another theme by going to

    Appearance ->themes

    Thanks for your quick reply Ializ!

    I can see that in Appearance>themes, the theme I have seems to be broken. By selecting to install again the same theme, will I lose the layout i had in the website?

    yes you might lose the layout changes if you reinstall theme. so if those changes arent much and you can redo them then can go ahead.

    best solution will be to ask theme developer on how to fix above error and you can use same layout

    Ok. The website was actually almost finished.

    I have just contacted my theme developer. Fingers crossed!

    i was getting this code,

    it’s fixed now!
