Virtue toolbar issues

I have just changed our theme from Customizr to Virtue. I am trying to utilize the tool bar with icons to setup a contact us page – I can get the phone icon to function, but when I try to insert a clear space – it just sits there, the space is never inserted and nothing happens?

Is this a bug or a setting I maybe have wrong?
