Visual Composer Custom Teaser Not Working

Hi,

I bought a theme that included Visual Composer so I cannot contact visual composer directly for support but I have found a few things that don’t work.

The biggest thing for me that isn’t working is the custom teaser. On a page at the side there is a tickbox to enable custom teaser. I enable this and fill out all the options.

It says:

“Here you can customize teaser block design. It will be used instead of default settings in “Posts Grid” or “Carousel” content elements.”

The problem is that the posts grid does not use this information I fill out and just completely ignores it so a lot of the excerpts don’t make any sense and I cannot specify the image to use.

Can anyone suggest a way I can get this working?
