Visual Composer : Spacing / Text Formatting Issue

Installed Active Plugins : Yoast, Slider Rev, Visual Composer, Krown Portfolio, WP Importer, oAuth twitter, Draw Attention
Inactive : Launchpad – CS/MM functionality module

Newbie here trying to tweak a page to look cleaner.

Have so far tried removing the 30px default margin in both text boxes ( they’re at the base of the page so no need to worry about them dragging something else up they way ), switching between plain and Paragraph formatting and reordering the actual text.

No matter what I try it gives me a massive gap between the first full-span box and the second 2 column box section like this

Any ideas of a way to either fix the margins or whatever I need to edit in VC or if there is a way to create effectively a table of format fullspan // column / column // inside the text box that wouldnt’t have that massive gap or at most a bearable small gap?
