• Hi Vladimir,

I open a new thread because the old one is dates and maybe not updated. Unfortunately I experienced the problem that affecting also the last version of Visual Composer 5.1.1 and USER ROLE MANAGER 4.34.

Sometimes the VC ROLES where reset to default settings disabling the POST type for all roles. This is very annoying because the users loses the ability to edit their POSTS with VC and someone should enter and manually re-enable this option.

The strange thing is that deactivating your plug-in (not uninstalling it) the problem still persists. Sometimes the VC settings were updated deactivating the post option.

I wrote to the VC support but they said that it should be a plug in incompatibily issue.
Please could you tell me why this behaviour could happened even when the ROLE MANAGER is deactivated and if you can made a sort of workaround?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Both plugins store there options in the different database records and should not conflict in this part. It’s confirmed by your monitoring of VC behavior with deactivated/uninstalled URE.

It may be some sort of a data caching problem. What if you try access wp-admin from different browser/computer when VC lose permissions settings, will you see the same picture at Visual Composer Role Manager page?

I may look at Visual Composer code in the access related part, if you provide to me (support [at-sign] role-editor.com) a copy of this plugin for testing/investigation (via Dropbox, Google drive, etc.)
