Visual Editor in Add New Post

    I cannot type or edit posts in the visual tab, only in text. This means I can’t use any of the features in the visual tab. If anyone can assist me in figuring out why, I would greatly appreciate it. Kim

    Most likely a javascript error from your theme or a plugin.

    Deactivate all your plugins and check if the problem goes away. if so re activate each plugin one by one until the problem comes back to identify which one is causing the issue.

    Ok I just looked at your site and the offending plugin seems to be the shopbop widget.

    These people are loading an old version of jQuery on the template_redirect hook which is probably what is breaking the visual editor.

    I’m going to send a nasty note to the plugin developers so hopefully they will fix it 🙂

    Great, thanks Chris for responding so quickly and identifying the issue. Hope they fix it as I have de/reactivated it twice already due to other issues.
