Visual Editor is broken (white text, missing buttons)

Hi all,

Over the past few days, I’ve been having an issue with my visual editor where the text is appearing white, buttons are missing, and I’m unable to switch between the visual and text modes. Looking around, this seems like a common problem and I’ve tried a number of the proposed solutions with no luck.

I should mention that pages show up fine on my live site, it’s just that my visual editor won’t work.

-I’ve tried it with several different browsers.
-I’ve tried turning off all plugins and a different theme.
-I’ve tried clearing my browser cache.
-I’ve tried replacing my js/tinymce folder.
-I’ve gone into wp-config and added “define(CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);
-When I look at Chrome’s browser debug mode while on the Edit Post page, it lists the following error: post.php?post=902&action=edit:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

Again, the visual editor shows up and I’m able to add content to the site, it’s just missing buttons and the visual/html editors won’t work – which seems strange, because that 500 (Internal Server Error) suggests to me that I wouldn’t be able to see the edit post page in the first place.
